Yea I didn't see that until after I posted the link.

It appears optics planet has a bit of a sore reputation, so I'm ok deleting the link if the collective thinks it's setting people up for a bad time.

Knifeworks apparently dropped this evening as well, almost 2 hours ago.

Was checking out ebay for a 15V Manix... Anyone else surprised the REC Manix seems to be worth a more than the 15V Manix on the secondary market? I was surprised.

BladeHQ has a storefront/operation in VA, maybe to better compete with east coast business and companies like KnifeCenter?

I think the REC was produced in a smaller quaintly and has the REC color-way. These would equate to a higher secondary market price point

Got mine just now from National Knives thanks to email alert and the heads up thread here at our forum. Can’t wait to test her out.

This National Knives drop lasted a while. Noticed that about one of the last ones yesterday or the day b4. Maybe the hardcore guys have already scored or the drops are alot bigger or both. Either way it's good news for the guys/gals still trying.

Got confirmation from National Knives as well. They are one of my preferred internet vendors and the shipping is always fast.

Well, it looks like options are about to be limited to ebay. I don't see many more drops happening at this point.

What makes you say that? I’m pretty sure that dealers get more than one shipment of sprints. We’ve only started seeing drops of 30 or more in the last couple days. It would surprise me if even half the run has sold yet.
National Knives posted a group of these knives about an hour ago. Other dealers may show up over the next day or two.

Here's something I missed earlier - maybe I'm the only one who did. This CPM 15V Manix 2 is described by Spyderco as part of a family of knives with 15V blades. That would seem to all but guarantee that we'll see a PM2 and Para 3 with 15V blades, as well as some of the other usual Golden-made suspects. A big thumbs-up on that.

I saw that too, that’s why I’m not too worried if I miss the manix.

Hoping they're just regular production and not a sprint if so.

I would not mind seeing a 15V Native 5 w/G-10. Be a nice combo.

They would be sprints, just like when all the Golden models went with Rex45 a few years back.

It's hard to compete with REC hype. If these 15V knives had a more flashy colorway I bet they would be going toe to toe with REC.

The other main difference is the 15V knives are still dropping and the REC Manix sold out in 4 minutes and can't be purchased retail anymore.

I figured the 15V steel would be a big driving force. Then again I have no idea why people would pay $300+ for a REC colorway. Look good but crazy price.
