A crucarta Sage 5 lightweight is my holy grail 3” Spyderco.
Unless I missed something, "Crucarta" is a term for Cruwear blade and Micarta handle, and the lightweights are FRN. I hope you plan to build it yourself, otherwise it's going to be a really long wait.

Picking up a CF Sage 5 tonight. Ought to be a downright handy addition.

I liked the Sage line better when it was used to showcase the different lock mechanisms.

Yeah, I'd rather see a new lock/Sage 6 than a rehash of what they've already done.

For sure!! That would be such a great smaller knife, when you don't want a Manix for a cbbl.

Turns out I was mistaken, it's a Sage 1 (C123CF). Sweet knife and the price was right. Think I would prefer the compression lock but hey, it's CF and a Sage.

I’d really love a Sage 2. The RIL is one of my favorite locks of all time. While we’re at it, I’d love a RIL Military, too.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

I love the Sage series! A new sprint run is always welcome, but I would rather to continue the series and see new models with new locks...

K390- right now there is no compression lock option in K390. I'd take it in LW or G10

What about a Turnbull (T-Mag) Sage? With the magnets.

And what about a swivel bolster Sage(4.5?)

Love to see these added to the series as well.

After all the related and ongoing fallout from COVID issues, I would expect it be a long wait until we see new models added to this line.

Even though I only have two out of the collection, I'd like to see the line expand with new locks.

K390 and light blue g10 would be lit! I’m wanting to buy a Sage 5 but don’t want the s30v version.

Opinel style twist collar lock? The handle might have to be similar to the Shaman in thickness.

Me too. I like the variations of originals I have but I'd still prefer to see new models with different locks

Agree with Rick on the Sage 4. Maybe I'm being a little selfish because I casually looked for a S4 for a long time. I got lucky and eventually found a very nice one for a reasonable price. It's one of the crown jewels of my collection and I kind of feel like a different version of the 4 will somehow make the original one less special. Same with the Sage 2. Adding a new version makes the original one kind of obsolete. I know some are thinking I'm not being fair but that's how I feel.

I still need to find a Sage 3 with Blue G10
