Native5 Salt MagnaCut Yellow FRN was shown in the 2022 Product Guide (released digitally on December 7th, 2021). Spyderco should keep Yellow for H-1/H-2, Green for LC200N and a new bright color for MagnaCut.

I hope the Magnacut gets a yellow handle, maybe a different shade.
Personally I’d really like a pine green. A blue shade to represent the ocean would be cool too.

I’ve always liked the neon green handle of the Lc200n salt series, until I got one. Once I started carrying it, all I could think of was those cheap gas station zombie type knives with the same color handle.
Mine will be a dedicated fishing knife so it’s not a big deal, I just can’t unsee the resemblance now.

I have an orange handle Delica and I don’t particularly care for the handle color either. It’s great for work on the job site and hunting but I rarely reach for it to casual carry/edc.

I still like the LC200 green handle. I can live with yellow but would also like something different. Still, when I can, I'll be getting teh Magnacut Salt no matter the handle color.

A bright BLUE handle color for MagnaCut would be nice to differentiate it with YELLOW for H-1/H-2 and GREEN for LC200N.

I like that suggestion.

Staying true to the origins, I'll thing orange (much as I detest that) makes the most sense. It's one of the colors that stay's visible at depth in water.

Maybe a yellowish orange so it is visible in deeper water? Kind of a Tennessee Vols orange and not a Texas orange.

At this point I don’t care what color it is. I just want it available.

I've thought orange would make sense as a hi-viz color for MagnaCut Salts too. It looks like they'll be yellow, at least for now, but I suppose that color is easy to dye.

It's been several months since the N5 MagnaCut Salt was announced, and I've had one on order for 6 months, starting to get a little twitchy.

I like yellow because it dyes well and they won't sell me white scales on their own. As for Magnacut, it sounds like a blend of LC200N and Cruwear, two of my favorite everyday steels. So I'm looking forward to it but I'm not sure I get why it's so hyped.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I’ve never used an FRN Native before. Is the action good? I’ve heard it doesn’t run on washers.
