My Native 5 in fluted carbon fiber. When changing the position of the pocket clip, the screw got stuck or the threads in the insert were stripped. I can't remember. Spyderco got the screw out but the tip up right hand position now can't be used. So, now I carry it clipless with a leather lanyard. Carries nice, no complaints.

I carry my G10 Delica clip less. They ride very nice in the pocket with their skim profile.

I have a few Spydies that i carry clipless-- of course the ladybug and jesters-- two of which have a simple fob and two beads, one Jester has a Tec Clip.

I also tend to prefer both the CF and FRN Chaparral and the backlock Lil Native without a clip, no fob.

My Baby Jess Horn is sooo much better without the clip and it has a simple fob with one bead.

All of these i will carry fifth pocket or bottom of right front pocket.

I tried my Dragonfly hawkbill without a clip, but struggle to comfortably OHO without the clip for grip/ leverage. I put the clip back on, but rarely clip it and also mostly carry it in the fifth pocket or bottom of RFP.

The Grasshopper has no adornments and i rarely carry it.

Edited typo and added a couple i initially forgot.

Im a really big fan of pocket clips so in general only the spydies that don't come with clips like lady/manbug etc.

I carry most knives less than 3oz and shorter than a Manix 2 clipless. This is mainly to fly under the radar where a knife may be non PC. If I have a clipped knife that is visible then I feel like I want to make it worthwhile. A Police doesn't have much a much bigger clipped profile than a Delica and as we say in Australia - you may as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb!

I think the Native 5 Lightweight is a great choice for a sturdy, capable knife that carries easily loose in the pocket.
