First day with the K-Carta PM2, quite happy with it.

Great looking scales!! And the knife as a whole will look amazing, should the blade develop a Patina over time (as always: Just the deep carry clip is something I´ll never warm up to, also concerning looks, but that´s just me ... :grimace )
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

I do enjoy a good patina, but neither of my golden K390 knives have developed one in two years of edc. My Seki K390 knives have both developed a light shadow in just a matter of months.

The deep carry clip has grown on me the more I’ve used it. I too disliked them at first - I couldn’t imagine paying a $20 premium each time I bought a new knife. I still prefer the stock clip on some knives, but the PM family is all deep carry now.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Guessing you like the lotus scales? I’ve seen mixed reviews about then having “hot spots” but I know how things can get started over one person being overly analytical on YouTube, so it’s hard to know what to believe on web reviews. I tend to trust this forum a lot more. Interested in your thoughts. Do you find yours comfortable?

Honestly, Ranger, I haven't used the new scales hard, yet. I just received them a few days ago. I liked the looks of the stock blurple scales, but they never felt right to me. The edges were too hard, and I didn't want to bevel them and risk possibly having to re-sell a modified knife. Maybe after I've used the new ones for awhile, I'll post impressions. Just holding the knife they feel delightful, but we all know how that can change in use.

Awesome color! Did you dye the yellow handle and then switched the blades with a black on black model?
