Any idea how many they are shipping to each store? I pre-ordered mine at Knife Center in Jan 2021. I think? I was fairly quick to the pre-order list but have heard nothing other than my monthly email from KC saying I am still on backorder.

Either the back order list at Knife Center is 3x the population of the earth or my theory is they are getting 1 or 2 at a time. I am on the same list since 5 min into the pre-order opening.

When I went in to the SFO when these first started to show up I was told they had maybe 10 in the store. They were sold out by the time I got in the store. I just got to see the spot it was in.
I asked and it was stated that everyone (ie SFO, DLT, SMKW etc) was getting about that amount in their shipments. I think there have been several shipments at this point but I don't think they had many in them.

I've been watching the site since early fall last year for not this but some s110v models and some salts, and with those, I've seen it go both ways.

Also, mostly--but not always-- the site has released those Thursday or Friday.
