Is it weird that I really like this? Super steels are great, but there's something to be said for simple steels when you get an inevitable chip you got to sharpen out. That BD1N is really nice on a "harder user" as they say. I actually wish they would have a production option like this with the basic G-10 handle. Maybe they'll do it for the PM2 LW though.

This is the first time I’ve ever been even close to considering a PM2. For my purpose and in my experience, I’ve liked my BD1N blades better than my s30v etc.

BD1N stainless steel is actually more corrosion resistant than S30V/S35VN/S45VN but not very good at edge retention.

In everyday kitchen use, I've enjoyed BD1N. Although the thin blade geometry of the Z-cuts helps.

Just saw the Shabazz review of the Slysz Bowie re-release. So frustrated I could I want to throw my shaman into my tv. Don’t know how I missed it but at $700+ it seems my only chance at getting one was missed. Don’t know how I didn’t see it was being released. F***!!!!!
