If DLTJordan is reading, I wonder (out loudly) if DLT would be willing to risk a Ladybug in these colors. :D
I would not be able to pass on that. It's gotta be in the works already, right??

I would really love for it to happen, but the final decision for a go-signal for a Ladybug exclusive is up to DLTjordan and Jason at DLT Trading...LBs aren't necessarily great sellers so I imagine it would take a great deal of risk for the company to venture in this one.

But - it would be the perfect Ladybug, colorway, steel and all.

Maybe if we forumites could start a petition or poll so that the guys at DLT can see that there is a niche demand for this knife in their exclusive red/black zome?

I'd buy a ladybug in this combination, for sure.

I stumbled on the release link in my "promotions" folder last night and couldn't pass it by. Pending MagnaCut's triumphant release, M390-ish steels are my favorite general purpose stainless offerings.

It's also a perfect chance to try out a set of micarta D'Fly scales and to expand my woefully undersized Dragonfly collection (HAP40, ZDP, G10 and ATS55 stainless)... I still can't believe that I only have four!?!

The ladybug ladybug is a great idea and definitely has been in discussions.

The new Manbug Wharncliffe would be tempting, too.

Oooh Ladybug Ladybug...I like it!

Please tell Jason T. that a lot of people's wishes would come true if that would ever happen! :D

Gotta say,
Thank you to DLT. I ordered this one when it dropped, and it's being delivered tomorrow. Same grate experience when I ordered & received the initial red G10 PM2 way back when, that came with the bandaids, blue box, etc..

Thanks DLT croo (crew) :)

That Zome color combo is really nice. I hope to see it on more models.

I would DEFINITELY get a couple Ladybug Ladybugs! Manbugs, too! I already have the Delica and a Dragonfly is in the mail. But my wife and I use ladybugs and manbugs all the time, and need some corrosion resistance for our sailboat life.

Finally got mine today. Looks like I got one of the ones made on a Friday. The bevel towards the end isn't ground "down" level with the rest. Will this affect getting that last about 1/10th sharp when I need to sharpen?

Mine was like that too. More noticeable on the non-clip side of mine.
So yes, initially it will.
I've sharpened mine a few times now, and it's almost gone.

I'm not talking about that little tiny unsharpened bit just ahead of the plunge, and behind the ground edge. That I sharpen out on my first sharpening of any/all of my Spydercos.
I'm talking bout about that "wobble" or different edge "grind angle" just forward of where the edge bevel stops.
No doubt with another sharpening or two, it'll be completely gone (from mine), and I'll then have a full edge length sharpened edge..

Also, on mine the pivot screw was an easy finger tip loose - so it got taken out, blue loc-tited, and re-installed... AND the back of the lock bar on mine had such noticeable machining marks remaining that, when opening and closing the blade, the lock-bar spring moving across it caused the action to feel quite "crunchy" or bad. So much so that I ended up taking the knife apart to see what the heck was going on - which is how I discovered the machining marks/grooves in/on the bottom of the back of the lock bar. I sanded them down a bit and that helped out a lot. After carrying the knife for a week now, it's smoothed out even more. It was pretty "crunchy" though initially... an un-pleasant surprise for sure, but it's been fixed... Not as un-pleasant as the proud tip on the Ikuchi that cut me, but still...
now just a sharpening or so away from that "edge wobble" being gone too...

I will politely suggest checking the screws on your knife to see how loose they are, and possibly adding some semi-permanent type of thread-loc to them.

If you decide to take yours apart for some reason, the handle is one piece - not two, and there are no PB washers at the pivot.

After years of not buying zome knives I finally caved on this series and bought the Endela, then the TiCN Endera, then I went back and bought the TiCN Delica. Now the zome in this color combo is kind of growing on me and I am kicking myself for not getting this Dragonfly (and the satin Delica).

I wonder if they will do a TiCN version of this Dragonfly since they did for both the Endela and Delica? Makes sense that they would.

Hopefully an Endura, Jester, Wharnie Delica, and Wharnie Dragonfly aren't far behind.
