I got all the way through buying one on Edgeworks. Confirmation email. Then got a “sorry, we screwed up and don’t have one” email!

So close!

Mine just arrived a couple hours ago from KnifeWorks and it's absolutely perfect, it's a tad smaller than I expected but fills the hand nicely even with my big paws... I don't think it will ever make it's way into my EDC rotation, but as a display piece, conversation starter, it's fantastic. Serious fidget factor for sure. ;)

Just based on the couple hours I've had it, it's a beautiful piece to behold, the mechanics, fit & finish, everything is on point, certainly the classiest Seki knife I own or have ever laid my hands on, IMO it is on par with a higher end Golden or Taichung model. It has been on my Grail list for a couple years now just based on seeing pictures of it, I'm very happy to say it met & exceeded my expectations in every way. A keeper for sure, for me at least :D

Got mine too from KnifeWorks. Very cool knife. This is Spyderco at its most adventuresome (I mean that as a compliment). The knife is very opinionated about how it is held, but is very comfortable. I get a bit of stick with the lock, but that should break in over time.

Mine was too, I just spent a little while working the lock, probably >70 but less than <100 times, now it is super smooth & easy.

I have been playing with mine since yesterday trying to get the lock stick to go away. The stick is actually pretty substantial and makes the lock uncomfortable to disengage. Hopefully it will wear in soon.

Apart from that I have a question: is the backspacer/bladestop titanium or steel? I know the liners are titanium.

My lock stick is the same. I think the backspacer is steel, but I'm not sure. It certainly looks like a different material.

A magnet will tell you if it's steel or Titanium

I hope everyone is happy with their purchase. I’m sorry but $450 for a 3” vg10 pocket knife is beyond my comprehension. I don’t really care if the Pope designed it.
