So who's got pictures? I'd love to see the new texture up close.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Here's one I took today. You might want to right-click and open the image in a new tab (or use your preferred method to do that) so you can zoom in and see the texture up close.
I can take more if you'd like to see anything more specific. The texture is amazing in the hand. I think it will be rough on the pockets.

Thank you! Looks great. Kind of like the Allen Putnam pattern but drilled out with a much, smaller bit. I bet it's not actually a relief job though.autoxer wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 3:40 pmkennethsime wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 3:19 pmSo who's got pictures? I'd love to see the new texture up close.

This is my favorite PM2 to date. I appreciate the heads up in this thread so I was able to get one.

I passed on this one as it’s YAP2*
Looks good, nice color and scales, it will look great in your collection. Hopefully some other models will be made in this combination in the future.

This is one I'd love to add to my pm2 collection but I've come up short at EVERY site. Is knifecenter the only place that hasn't got them in yet?

I think the handle scales really set this one apart from other sprints..I love super grippy knives. I really like the extra grip when I am closing the compression lock

Re: s45vn pm2 sprint alert thread
I really didnt care about the steel. I only wanted to try out the scales and the new pattern on them. My only complaint with peel ply is knowing that after years of hard use it can wear smooth. Even then there are several fixes. But I do like the idea of a g10 pattern that hopefully should not wear like peel ply does.moose1000 wrote: I think the handle scales really set this one apart from other sprints..I love super grippy knives.
