No fancy pic, but worth mentioning nonetheless.

This thing won me over to the para 3 despite my complete indifference to or before. The normal one didn't quite do it for me as it felt like it was going for a pm2 in a small size but ending up as a stubby thick not quite kinda thing for me. Even gifted away my cruwear para 3 but in its lw format it's pretty phenomenal.
Been carrying it a lot lately and pushing it to its limits and I have to say I don't mind the thick stock on such a small blade though so much anymore are a working man's knife. I've dropped it, put it through reasonably heavy outdoorsy activities and (for the very first time) I snapped the very fine tip off but aside from that the m390 which I guess also played its part held up wonderful. Once I get some more use out of it to find its limits I'll work on it and bring it back to perfect and then beyond. I'm unsure whether I prefer it over a native 5 though. Only have the original s35vn native to compare it to but I think I like them equally. Here in the eu there is a place where I can get a n5 lw in rex 45 but I think I'm plenty satisfied with my current as is.

Also, after disassembly cleaning and applying nano oil accordingly this pm3 is crazy smooth despite having one washer and no play to speak of. Which is pretty crazy imo. After a day of hard use some sand and stuff got in there which made the detent slip but a quick cleaning session fixed that. Still it's something I hadn't seen before in any comp lock so I'll see how that goes coming week.

Kinda regret gifting the cruwear pm3 now though, would have had the grey g10 cruwear set from military, pm2 and pm3 complete otherwise but it's in a good place now. Told my friend not to baby the knife and he has been using it daily since so I'm just happy to have a close friend experiencing what a good knife can do for you haha. Same thing happened to an other mate who got a manix 2 lw in s110v I thought lost. Got a new one a day later just to get the old one back from an honest collegue so zero regrets there too. Been 2 years but he still carries it everywhere despite never carrying a knife before that so I'm just happy to spread the joy.

And yeah the manix 2 in rex 45 above.. I really considered it but after carrying the g10 s110v one for a while I decided against it. That thing has and still is a beast, never let me down so.. Oh and it going for 180 euros here ( 194,77 United States Dollar) was a deal breaker. That's just too much of a price increase over the US pricing..

Late reply, Julia... ;)

I was REALLY close to getting that Manix. But I guess I won´t pull the trigger.. :(

Only reason: In the last days I realized even more how much I really like SE in ffg, and only ONE of the Spydies I own at the moment offers that (one other is sabre hollow grind full SE, and one is sabre grind comboedge)
So I´ll try and get more ffg SE Spydies whenever possible, and the Manix does not come like that unfortunately..
Sure, SE rules out very hard super steels I guess in most cases, but I am fine with that.
I have high hopes for the Rock Jumper, as far as I know this model will (and really should) also come in SE! :)

/ Now what really is a pity though (Quoting JuPaul) "And you should absolutely get a g10 manix, and I will get an Endela! " (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=60127&p=1410207&hil ... a#p1410207)

In would have loved to hear your thoughts on the Endela SE! :D
You know what you like, and that is a good thing! No worries, W - I will still get an Endela. ;) But I think I will probably try the PE in k390 first. Then if I like the model I'd add one in SE.

I haven't used my dodo for cardboard yet, but I'll have to try. But I will say it is the ultimate blister pack/clamshell/insane toy packaging opener. I carry it to every kids' bday party I go to now. :p

I was thinking the same thing.

Carrying my Police 4 today. Last night I touched it up on the UF rods at 15 dps and it is fabulously sharp. So much to like about this knife!

It is indeed, a monster! It is honestly going to cause my SB Caly 3.5 to get sold...

Everytime I reach for the Caly, I end up grabbing this one.

I bought two Ulizes from W&W, with the intention of selling/trading one later on. That has become a very difficult thought... I want to keep both of them!

I may end up moving one of them, to fund a new gun, but I don't think I'm ready yet. Haha
