Well Ankerson I think you're on to something. Things have already gotten worse than I thought that they would. I got a feeling that the virus won't be confined to mainland China. I got a gut feeling that it will be all over Southeast Asia if it keeps spreading at this rate.

This may just be a test or sampler for a bigger and worse virus to grow legs. The thought of biological warfare truly does give me the creeps in many ways. Another thing that has been in the back of my brain for some time now. I don't think that the US government ever found out what GulF War Syndrone really was :confused:

Just heard on the radio driving home, a Chinese national on holidays and infected caught a flight domestically here in Oz and authorities are trying to contact over two hundred passengers that where on the same flight.

Haven’t had the chance to read through this thread, just a quick post to say I spoke to a bloke today who has family in China and according to them, things are far more serious over there than is being reported in the media. At least in the Australian media.

The flu spreads like it does every year because MOST people don't get the flu shot. Then they go to work, send their kids to school etc when they are sick and spread it around. Basic stupidly and complete idiocy, and why something like the Corona Virus will spread like mad, it's just starting... :rolleyes:

The Corona Virus is an R-O of 2-3 so far..

Both the CDC and WHO are telling people to get the freaking flu shot.....

The Corona Virus is an R-O of 2-3 so far..

Both the CDC and WHO are telling people to get the freaking flu shot.....

I get mine every year. I also recently got my Hep A and B shots, as well as my MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) follow-ups. I got my measles shots as a kid, but they tested me and and found it was weak, so I got my booster for it. If there's a chance to safely lower my risk for something common like that, I'm taking it.
