Spyderco Engraving by Joanne Ryall
Hi folks,
Some people are Plumbers & some, Electricians. Me...? I scratch metal! (and love it) :)
Iβm also new to the forum, so thought Iβd introduce myself with Cricket that I recently completed engraving.
. Happy New Year to you all.

Welcome to the forum :)
And amazing work on that Cricket!
I own a few engraved Spydies, but they're definitely not all to such standards!

Welcome. I really like the contrast of square lines withal the curves on an oval knife. Very cool.

Happy New Year to you all.
That is an excellent level of scratching that you've done. I wonder how this would look on one of our titanium models?

Thank you.
Titanium would work well I think. A good level of contrast is often achieved with Titanium!

A nice candidate for titanium would be the Spyderco McBee. It's small size would make it perfect pocket jewelry.Joanne-Ryall-Engraver wrote: βSat Jan 25, 2020 7:14 amThank you.

That's the one with all the holes I believe.
Not really as ideal as a plain canvas, but it's certainly a consideration. Thank you!

I've scratched a lot of things in my time: car doors, iPhone faces, table tops, but none have come out looking like your work. I was going to ask you to share some pictures of your tools, work in progress, etc., but I just discovered your web page. I'll be browsing around there this morning. Thanks for sharing your work.

It would seem that whilst your scratchings might not be as pretty as mine, they are quite extensive!
My congratulations on your efforts & diligence!
