Yep, I still have one too. It came in clamshell packaging. Still works like a charm!
Re: Old School Sharpmaker
I believe I still have an older model of the Spyderco Sharpmaker that came in a heavy-duty nylon pouch somewhere around here.
The beauty of an old school Sharpmaker is that it still works just fine even today. :)

I had one like that, too. Bought in the 80’s. Later gifted to a friend after getting a 204.
Re: Old School Sharpmaker
I didn't even know "antique" :p sharpmakers was something I wanted to be on the lookout for until just now! :) Now I want the oldest one there is. What was the first year for the sharpmaker?

Got one just like it too.
Re: Old School Sharpmaker
That is just like my Spyderco Sharpmaker. I also have a couple of Spyderco’s benchstones. I like those very much.
Re: Old School Sharpmaker
I've got one even better than that. I still have my original Spyderco GALLEY V sharpening kit that I've had since the late 90s. The only gripe I had against the original GALLEY V was that it was only offered in FINE grit.
I've heard that there is talk about a newer GALLEY V kit soon to arrive. Now as far as the 203 Sharpmaker I don't really miss it because when I got my first 204 Sharpmaker I even gave my 203 kit away and never looked back. The 204 was a really great improvement and it's probably going to take a while before it gets replaced.
