Thanks for sharing your unboxing vid. Looks great Alistair. I'm sure you're very proud to see your creation turned into a production folder.

There’s not a box in Spyderco land that this doesn’t check for me.

I think you can only see it from the Instagram app. From his page in the app you can click on the upper left profile picture and the video should play from there. I believe those "live videos" are only available for 24 hours, so it won't be available much longer.

Ahhh thanks for the tip - I'm insta-appless and planning to stay that way so will take this as a lesson in patience until I get to do my own in-person unboxing :D :D

Alistair just went live on his Instagram with a production version. Shouldn't be long now!
My Instagram is alistairphillipsfolders the live video will stay up there for 24 hours unless I can find a way to save it. If you want to see me checking it out for the very first time.

Alistair
AAHHH I missed it :(
Any chance you can upload it to YT?

Thanks heaps Alistair for grabbing and sharing this! Looks like Taichung has once again hit it out of that park. Your excitement and enthusiasm throughout the video had me smiling ear to ear, and I especially enjoyed the Kapara-son (sorry!) between your original knife and the Spyderco interpretation. Congratulations, and I can't wait to heap on praise once I manage to get one of these gorgeous knives into my itchy hands :D :spyder: :D

Cheers,
Andrew

Thanks Alistair. Looks incredible, can't wait. I really like the marbled look of the scales.

I was telling myself i wouldn't need this knife because it reminds me of the Mercedes Benz model of the Centofante 3, based on looks. At least to me. But after seeing that video, I'm thinking ill be getting it and selling the Centofante 3.

Looks like this is getting close to release, it is featured in the new Byte. I am very excited for this knife, and it will be my only “new for 2018” Spyderco purchase this year. I have loved this thing ever since I first saw it. Can’t wait to finally get one in hand!
