Just ordered from optics planet.
They are not gone yet. Keep looking if you want one.
.....

If you look down at the bottom right, you will see that it says "extended backorder - unknown eta" Optics Planet and Campsaver (usually fulfilled by Optics Planet) are well known for doing this if you check the "Crazy deals..." thread. Kind of a coin toss if you'll receive one, kind of like getting in on a pre-order late. Good luck!

It's beautiful and a very nice size. The steel is nicely polished!

Wow, that looks great! Thanks for the pic! That polish job should give it a little bonus to it's corrosion resistance. :)

Can anyone do a comparison shot with one of the other FRN sprint Super Blues? Is the color the same/similar?

Delica 4 C11FPBLE
Clay Jr. C52FPGYE
Native 5 C41PGY5

Same white printer paper, 3 different angles, 5600K lighting. An iPhone isn't exactly professional! The original picture is pretty true to the real color on my monitor.

It does have a little bit of blue in it. It seems to me to be a very, very, pale lavender.

Received mine yesterday and it’s very nice. This batch of Super Blue seems much slicker and highly polished than previous batches of it. I can hardly get purchase on the blade with a microfiber cloth to wipe it down, it’s so slippery.

My only quibble so far is that the rear end of the spine of the blade (behind the jimping) does not line up with the lockbar when it’s in the open position. None of the other Calypso Jrs. of mine have this issue. Doesn’t seem to affect lockup but I did flick the knife open hard and it took a little extra force to disengage the lockbar. I’ll grab a pic at some point.

It is lovely though! The steel is very beautiful to admire. :)

If this is a 1200 pc run then it's nowhere close to being sold out. Also sprint runs are generally released in batches so this was more than likely just the first wave. Does anyone know exactly what pc run this is?
Considering the number of buyers now out there a 1200 piece run seems too small for a sprint run. When stores sell out so fast the demand is obviously so high I think this number should be reviewed, for this and future sprint runs. Or is it just that stores don't get enough in initially to be able to satisfy the demand?
