Same here. I like the extra length compared to the Urban, but don't like the wider leaf bladed UKPK.sal wrote:I would personally like a drop point in 52100.

LC200N Salt! Wharncliffe Cruware with linerless Grey G10...and K390!

I'd still love this, in drop point and leaf. Tan handles would be swell, but I'll take whatever color you feel like.

Would there be a Spyderedge in H1?

Re: Future plans for the UKPK?
Drop point for sure. Drop point with DLC 52100 and Coyote Brown FRN??? Might have to pick up my first UKPK if that happens!
I really wish there was a locking Golden made UKPK with a drop point blade in great steels like 52100 and Cruwear. Would be an amazing little EDC.
CRU-CARTA THE SEKI MODELS! AND BRING US THE DODO-FLY!
Re: Future plans for the UKPK?
While we're wishing for a new UKPK, I could go for a couple of Coyote brown frn with DLC 52100. All black hardware including wire clip. Drop point of course.
Re: Future plans for the UKPK?
Wharncliffe blade, more like yojimbo shape than the bubbly rounded back.
G10 scales all day long, just cant get into the frn.
The only way i would be happy with frn on the ukpk is if it had the same grip pattern as the salt/delica

Re: Future plans for the UKPK?
M4 or 52100 would be great i’d Love to see the return of G10 to the ukpk and urban too
Re: Future plans for the UKPK?
UKPK drop point in something like H1, with blade serrated in lower section only. UKPK value to me is as a travel knife for blade unfriendly places. Often comes out in restaurants that give me a steak knife unable to easily cut butter. Have multiple knives I cycles thru, but either a PITS, a Terzuloa slipit, or a standard UKPK drop point come along most often.
Having something without a lock in maint-free H1, and relatively cheap would be nice. Partially serrated is nice also. The PITS and Terzuola are great, but attract enough attn sometimes that I wonder how long before some cop relieves me of one of them, even though they are legal

Re: Future plans for the UKPK?
Full length back spine with non-tuning fork style spring to continue the Squeak & Urban theme.
Return of G10 would be nice.
Not too bothered about exotic steels as long as the price doesn't go mad.
A whole new shape UKPK like a slippy Native would be great.
Whatever you end up doing just keep it up for us UK/Euro/Slippy folk.

Re: Future plans for the UKPK?
Must admit I haven't tried the latest iteration of the tuning fork spring, but the firm opening and strong blade retention that the full back-spring gives the G10 UKPK and Urban LW is a highlight for me. Bringing a full spine spring back to the UKPK line (though highly improbable) would be welcomed by me.Scheißenberg wrote: ↑Sat Aug 18, 2018 2:41 pmFull length back spine with non-tuning fork style spring to continue the Squeak & Urban theme.

I'm also curious to see what new slipit designs can come up with without them being worse or more expensive than the UKPK/Urban template (which went through long R&D to become the optimal design it is).

Re: Future plans for the UKPK?
The split back springs on the UKPK’s are perfectly balanced, in my opinion.
- best wishes, Jazz.

That too. But I’ll admit, I’m a snob for the UKPK.
