Just like the PM2 thread, everyone looking out for one another. This forum is awesome! First one I've ever been a part of where it feels like a bunch of mature, adults with a common interest coming together.

Has anyone had a KC preorder filled for the Para 3 yet? I preordered at 7 AM on 5/31 and felt that was pretty early on...
Yes, got shipping yesterday and ordered 9:42 pm the night before you. I would think you are pretty close to the top now.
Wonderful surprise as I’m away and had phone off for 4 days. Best news in all those backed up emails.

If anyone's still looking for one knives plus have a few in stock. They're not showing on their website but if you shoot them an email they'll sort you out! They've also got some pm2s and militarys.

We don't think all of these have dropped yet, do we? I'm itching to get my hands on one and missed the first round. Getting nervous over here...

Based on how the PM2 Rex sold, the P3 is probably done. Hope I'm wrong

it doesnt seem like 1200 pieces from each PM2 and Para 3 could have been sold that fast?? Could it? Then you have knives like the 52100/PPCF PM2 that is still available after many months. They are both sprints so assuming the same quantity of 1200 are made. So does the Rex45 really have that much higher demand over the 52100 to basically sell out within minutes rather than months?? What am I missing here?

Good questions! I'd like to know the answers. It doesn't seem like they would be sold out if the numbers are right. Maybe there are less than 1200 of each. Could there be 600 of each? It's just hard to know without knowing the exact numbers.

Some of the Knife distributors apparently had so many pre-orders that they did not even have stock enough to put on their web site for purchase. That would account in part for the speed of the disappearance. Is it possible that only a portion was released, and that there will be another round or two of releases?

The scenario you described makes sense. Too bad they don't trust us enough to chime in and tell us what's up. But that's all part of the game.

Well I can tell you that KC just filled my preorder from 5/31. Maybe they just got another batch in, but like Raymond said, they don't even list the knife on their website which would confirm that they took enough preorders to cover their allotment.

I'm glad you got yours! I had seen a post you made a day or two ago wondering if anyone else got their's. Somehow it all works.

It's a new to Spyderco Steel, this is the first Rex45 offering, and 52100 has been around on other models. This is the first burnt orange from Golden and first in G-10. People love HAP40 and Rex45 is similar and unclad, so it's got that going on for it.
