Is that translucent G10?
I believe someone poster earlier (or on another forum) that the G10 is translucent.

This Delica is expensive but it has a lot of nice details. St. Nick's Knives said yes to every option on this one.

Yes, translucent. Yeah, they did it up on this one. The Native LW is still my favorite model, but this is my new favorite knife. I cant put it down. Perfect in every way. Man do I need a G10 Dragonfly in this combo!

Mine showed up today also which was a day earlier than expected. F&F is great and yet another exceptional Delica variant. Finally a Delica where I don't have the desire to swap out the scales :)

Nice packaging and some swag thrown in too! St. Nick's Knives provided a great experience.

The G10 is a dark red. It's a hard color to capture accurately. These two pictures are a good representation of how it looks in real life.

I looked at the backspacer through my jewelers loupe. I'm pretty confident it isn't G10. It isn't magnetic either. I vote some kind of plastic.

The letter in the box mentions the backspacer is stainless steel. Upon close inspection it doesn't look like steel to me.

Am I wrong to be a tad disappointed that the back spacer looks to be black plastic rather than stainless (as the insert states) or G10?

Would you have paid an extra $20 for a TiCN coated stainless backspacer that adds additional weight? Or who knows how much more G10 would have been given that G10 scales are a basically a $100 upgrade on Seki knives. Im glad its not stainless as this keeps the weight down, and G10 probably would have cost more. Im also not sure what really would have been gained by having the backspacer be either of those. Whatever the material is I have no issues with it. I have been carrying this knife daily since I got it and I love it.

But yes, I do agree they need to have accurate info in the inserts and website description.

I don't really have an issue with the backspacer but the rough edges of the liners is kind of disappointing considering the price. The coating kind of masks it so it's harder to see with the naked eye but it's visible. I certainly wouldn't return the knife because of it but I've come to expect better finish on Spyderco products in any price range.

I would really like to pick this up, but I just can’t justify the cost at the moment for another knife!! It doesn’t help that I just realized I sold my last knife with HAP40 either, I totally forgot I don’t have anymore HAP40, sad face.

I was surprised to see the rough liners (in Wright.88's excellent photos). I'm thinking it's because it's assembled after coating, so can't be finished with the knife.

I agree on the poor finish shown on the liner edges,,, the parts were just stamped and not completely smoothed out.
Fixing this would require another operation which would have raised the price even further.
Other Spyderco knives with exposed steel liner edges do not have this rough appearance.

Yeah the liners aren't perfect. I am pleased with mine though. For a Delica fan, it's a must-have. It's actually my only Delica right now.

Including ones coming out of Seki City. My Nishijin Dragonfly has beautiful smooth satin liner edges.

I actually like the textured look and feel of the liners. I think it works well on a coated knife. If uncoated, then polished is probably the better option. But I think its fine on here. And like you said, polishing before coating raises ths price.

I have zero issues with this knife. It is fast becoming my favorite. Ill probably buy a few more to give to my sons when they are older. It seems like a great candidate for a first spydie. My only gripe is that I dont have a matching Red G10 Dragonfly!

I will admit these are minor nitpicks - plastic backspacer and rough liner edges. This exclusive turned out great. I thought I should own at least one Delica so I figured it should be special. This one definitely ticks that box.

It looks awesome and it should for this price I guess. I just can't justify this for a delica knowing other options I have for the money.

Has the TiCN coating been holding up so far for harder use?
