If I hadn't already bought 2 other knives today I probably would have already bit. Hopefully these take a few weeks to sell out. I definitely like that the website shows how many they have left in stock. I will most likely end up with one of these.

I guess SUS410 not SUS310 per the Spyderco website.

How is Pacific Salt H-1 Lightweight Black Blade PlainEdge Black FRN (Japan) different than the current Blacked out Pacific Salt? Is this supposed to be the LC200N one rather than H1?

Re: Spyderco 2018 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming
I have already accepted that Spyderco owns my soul. Unless they disco the Para 3 as that would break the spell. They could come out with a Para 3 with a Mahogany blade and I'd still buy it.
Can you find it and can it cut?
Re: Spyderco 2018 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming
Stay with H1 as LC200N is only 15% chromium and while employs nitrogen, it also contains .3% carbon which is a low-mid carbon steel. The bottom line is that this steel DOES RUST. I know from use and many tests from others that there are only TWO knife steels that do not rust. H1 and titanium. Titanium sucks as a knife steel while H1 rocks all night and all day long. Haha, you are so smart. I wonder who knows more, you or the people who have spent thousands of hours testing that steel?Crux wrote: ↑Fri Aug 03, 2018 10:56 pmStay with H1 as LC200N is only 15% chromium and while employs nitrogen, it also contains .3% carbon which is a low-mid carbon steel. I'm one of those people and you can stop with the insults. Just because you do not understand metallurgy is not a reason to be mean and spiteful. YES LC200N will RUST and is NOT a replacement for H1. Test for yourself before you post more nonsense. You are also free to believe whatever myth ruffles your panties.Sumdumguy wrote: ↑Sat Aug 04, 2018 1:32 amHaha, you are so smart.
