Honestly, I find the bite only lasts so long before searching for a new design, but one platform I wished I picked up sooner is the Endura 4. I never thought I'd like the Endura as much as I've come to know, so I purchased countless models in pursuit for a one knife pocket knife. After picking one up last November, I've noticed my pursuit of other models has been somewhat quelled in the pocket knife world. Most days I carry an Endura and a small SAK for sheeple tasks. The size, weight, ergos, solidness and compact design are truly standouts and show the evolution within the design. Some of my most anticipated knives are sprint runs of the Endura anymore :D.

First spyderco I bought was an s30v digicam military with a black blade. First impression after carrying mostly small singleblade lockbacks by gerber, buck, etc was “Holy Foxtrot, this is a pocket sword!” I sold it because at the time i thought it was too big. That lead me to a native which lead me to a para 2 then a para 3 now coming full circle im back to carrying military’s on weekends and para 2’s most days. With the occasional manix 2 in a back pocket because its a wide beast.

I liked the Delica so much it made me buy more. If I had gotten the FRN Chaparral first, I might not have bought Delicas and Dragonflies, however.

I don't know yet; there are so many that I've never owned.

I'm also a bit of a steel geek, so I don't think I'd be content with just one knife anyway. :)

It wasn't my first, however the Caly 3.5 has reigned in pocket time over the years. It could not keep me from adding to the extended family. I suppose that if I'd bought the rustproof FRN Endura with LC200 first, it would have saved me a bunch'O money.

Definitely my PM2, especially if I had encountered it early.
Yup.

Probably the original cruwear pm2 sprint. Both the model and the steel would've prevented some experimental purchases.

I will say this much, if I had bought a Sharpmaker from the start I would most likely have been carrying SE a lot more many years ago.

My second Spyderco was my first Salt, and 20 Spydies later I still keep coming back to them and carrying Salts only, so I got it right pretty early but still wanted to try other stuff and things,

none of these features could kick the Salts (especially the Pacific) out of my pockets though

I don't think I've quite found that knife yet, but the d'allara 3 is closest for me.

I’ve found quite the opposite. Buying a Spyderco that checks all the boxes INCREASES my appetite for more Spyderco knives. The Delica 4 was my first Spyderco, and it remains my most carried, used, and loved models.

Pacific Salt.

It's the yard srick I measure every knife against.

Some models offer a little more cutting edge, or more efficient geometry, or fancier handle materials, but none match the overall package of the Pacific Salt for my uses.

I've sold off Spydercos costing 3x as much in favor of EDCing my beat to **** PE Pacific Salt with the old squared off clip.

Pac Salt for me too. It opened the back lock door, and the Salt door.

Bought one for myself, and two for gifts.
Beast of a rustproof knife, at a great price.

Native 5. For me it's just the right combination of pocket size, ergos, and cutting ability and it finds my pocket 50% + of the time.

Hmmm, tough call. Spyderco does a fantastic job with every knife I have (9 total, 7 different models) Every time I carry one for 4-5 days straight...that's my new favorite. Then I switch to another, and then that one is my favorite, so on and so forth. But, If I really had to pick I'll go 2 different routes because it depends on what tasks are at hand. Smaller, typical edc work I have to say my lil guy...Chaparral FRN. Something for heavier tasks, like working outside I'll go with the PM2.
