I buy many knives off eBay or used, just check the feedback and you should be okay.
I’ve never had an issue personally.

You've been lucky. If they have great feedback and they are a major knife seller, yeah you're probably OK. But great feedback alone is far from a guarantee. They could kniw next to nothing about knives and be selling a fake unknowingly. Always stick to auctions and sales which show actual, high quality photos of the knife, or at least dedicated knife sellers. Check return policy as well.

To simply write off a platform like eBay or amazon is shooting yourself in the foot, there are always dodgy sellers but that’s not the platforms fault, buyer beware-as it has been since time began.

3 years and 1 month in the making, I have an Ouroboros on the way.

I first handled this knife at the Amsterdam Meet in early March 2015. It was my favorite Spyderco design there*. However, the curse of attending the meet is how long you have to wait for actual release, and in that time things changed. My daughter was born, things got busy and money was tight. Hobbies got put on the back burner. Finally things are in a (more) stable place, and I can revisit my old hobbies a bit.

So in short, I’m happy to close the deal on a little bit of unrequited Spyderco love. Can’t wait to get this one in hand (and pocket)!

*I very much liked the Jerry Brouwer knife but his was a custom and at the time there were no clear plans to make a collaboration

I saw the Para 2 in the red G10, but couldn't find it anywhere (wound up getting the blurple). My son just went into the army, so I thought the digital camo would be fun to get and I saw the red dyed camo Para 3 at Knives Plus. Got both of my wants together. :cool:
