Lil Matrirch Found It’s Way Into My Collection

Man, I sure would like to get my hands on one of those original Delica 4 PE Reverse S’s, like that white one, but alas, a Google and Ebay search yielded no results

Jase, you should be aware that those red, white, and blue "LMs" are custom by Radioactive Spyder, not original versions. He is one of the experts at blade and scale swaps, and other customizations to scales etc. You can find examples of his expertise over the years on this forum.
Originals are *only* in black, or dark blue from BBS.

A PE black frn LM may be hen's-tooth scarce, but keep your eyes on ebay and BFE. A Delica 4 labeled SE Lil Matriarch would be less uncommon; a Lil Matriarch labeled SE should be next easiest to find. (To echo RadSpy, I've never seen a Lil Matriarch labeled example in PE.)

The BBS PE LMs show up regularly on ebay by other sellers, (BBS also sells them on ebay), so be patient and watchful and one will turn up for you. Of course you can then swap the blade into a Deli 4 handle color of your preference.

As a Delica fan, you should also check out the Tasman and Merlin Spydercos; easy to find used ones at low prices fairly regularly it seems.

Yup, picked it up on bladeforums. They do not pop up too often but when they do the price is usually reasonable.

I use mine a lot in the garden. It is a great knife for trimming and pruning.

I took the advice and hit “the exchange”. Posted a want under the wanted section, and within a day I was contacted by two members! I’m in talks with one member ironing out the details on a NIB Lil Mat PE Exclusive that comes with box and papers :D
