BHQ with a hap40 Lum Tanto exclusive?

This is just more proof that the Lum Tanto should make a return to Spyderco’s regular line up. It’s not just another tanto blade...it is THE tanto blade.

I don't know how many it would take to saturate the market though.. Maybe it's a risk not worth taking? Although a sprint run would probably sell like hotcakes.

There is a lot of love out there for this knife. It would sell, and I’d wager it would outsell many knives in Spyderco’s current lineup.

Without knowing the differences in materials cost (blade steel thickness), machining, etc., it seems they would also would make some sort of payment to Bob Lum’s estate, right?

yeah, maybe a very small run? hard to believe they sold that many at that price. a lot of people said that weren't interested due to price, tanto blade, large size, scale color, steel type, etc. heck, even i passed and i have been buying a ton lately. :D looks like the PM2 Jade DLC is going to be a 30 second sell out if this was a 15 min one.

Dying to know the size of the run. I have been clamoring for the return of this model and missed it.

Had it in cart twice and it then claimed it was gone both times during check out. That is with a fully pre signed in account ready.
