Hello,
Been using Spyderco knives for many years. I must have five of them! I do have a few questions.
I have a 'worker' all stainless knife that the clip (two screws used to keep it in) was broken off. Any idea where to get a new clip and screws?
Second question. I just picked up an all stainless Spyderco knife, Seki Japan, that has a 2 3/4 inch blade, non serrated, and the clip is 'built in'. That is it's a solid clip that seems to be part of the frame. I see five rivets on the frame.
Looks like this: https://www.terapeak.com/worth/vintage- ... 712015902/
But with non-serrated blade.
What is it called? Was it one of the first made?
Thanks,
Deaf

I can't help with the clip, but the second one appears to be an Economy or Standard model, which is C05.

The Worker is so old my guess is no way to get a new clip. You could maybe get an after market knife pimper to make one.

Ok, bit of research.
My first one is a C01PCOM Worker!
Either 1001R or just 1001 (not sure what the difference is but the clip is a 2 screw on right side and the 'tip' will be down and no way to swap sides or ends with the clip.) I got it years ago at a pawn shop and I've used it very often.
The second one defiantly is the C05.

Mine looks just like this one above! No hole at the rear of the knife for a lanyard (or something.) I guess a C05P – Plain Edge.
I also understand if it has the integral clip and visible pins/rivets, then it's the original version of the C05 Standard. And that is the way mine is.
I paid, before tax, $9.99! And $10.79 total. Yes less than 11 bucks for a Spyderco.
Thanks guys.
