Hey Sal, TAKE MY MONEY
Hey Sal, TAKE MY MONEY
Autonomy, plain edge, don't care if it's satin or DLC, in VG10 or better, and you've got yourself a sale. I promise. I'm completely ok with black G10 but solid slabs of carbon fiber tend to make me weak in the wallet area.

I agree totally, I've already got the orange Autonomy but would love a plain edege. In the meantime I'll just keep buying BM autos. :)

Re: Hey Sal, TAKE MY MONEY
Add me to the list of those who'd love to see a PE Autonomy. VG-10 probably not an option on a US made knife, but S30V, S35VN, or CPM XHP, would all work for me, or they could go with LC200N to keep at least close to its current level of rust resistance. FFG would be the icing on the cake.Evil D wrote:Autonomy, plain edge, don't care if it's satin or DLC, in VG10 or better, and you've got yourself a sale. I promise. I didn't even know I needed an uncoated LC200N PE Autonomy. But do I want it with the lock-out/lock-up switch?

I may never use the safety but I wouldn't mind if it were there. Being a tip up carry I can't see it opening in my pocket but I like the idea of an optional safety for times when I may carry it in my backpack or something like that.wrdwrght wrote:I didn't even know I needed an uncoated LC200N PE Autonomy. I need an Autonomy in general! Plain edge would be a great option in my opinion as well.

Agreed. I just want any blade in black at the moment.
The first time I saw a Spyderco was the early 90s at a knife shop in a mall. I can still see the SpydieHoles through that glass display cabinet. My parents wouldn't buy any of them for me... so now I buy them all. :spyder:

Re: Hey Sal, TAKE MY MONEY
Aren't they doing an Autonomy now with a traditional blade shape? If so, I would expect it to be offered in pe and lc200n. I will definitely be a buyer if that comes out!

I haven't heard anything about that. If it was shown at Amsterdam/Blade/etc as a prototype then nobody has mentioned it that I've seen. I would really prefer the sheepsfoot shape in PE but I would be all over a Citidel/Embassy blade shape too.

I haven’t seen any prototype at the show. I thought I heard Sal mention it here on the forum about 6 months ago.

Yes! But build an auto knife mini factory in a semi trailer to make them in every auto friendly state in the lower 48.
