Best place to have DLC applied to an Endura 4?
Best place to have DLC applied to an Endura 4?
I would like to have the steel on my Endura 4 blackened. Does anybody have any recommendations as to who could provide this service? I appreciate it.

I don't know of anyone who does DLC, but you could probably duracoat/cerakote? Even if you went that route, it might be cheaper to just buy a black bladed Endura. Hope you figure something out!

Just Google DLC Metal coating and you will get a number of places that do this work.

If you want to, it would be neat for you to take a pic of the Endura before the coating is applied, and afterwards, so we on the forum can see how the coated version looks.

But finding a place to do a one-off job is difficult. I've had luck DLC coating blades by sending them to gunsmiths that are IonBond agents. They usually send parts in batches to get coated. You can usually get your blade in on one of those batches. Cost for me has been $20-$35 depending on what mood the shop is in :^)Doc Dan wrote:Just Google DLC Metal coating and you will get a number of places that do this work.

He made Tenacious for sale. The E4 SG wasn't (I guess). It's there on his E4 G10 review video.chuck_roxas45 wrote:anagarika wrote:Nutnfancy had his E4 SG cerakoted desert tan.
