Kris was supposed to be in the mail but never showed up... No response from the seller... I have the sneaking suspicion this'll be the second Kris that has been close, yet too far away

Correct. The seller responded up until about a week ago. Figured it was delayed for some reason... I placed a wanted add and jumped on his response to get the Kris. Didn't want to have it slip through my fingers again after a family member decided to screw me over the last time and picked it before deciding to keep it for himself. He lived closeby, so I asked him to pick it up on his way to work. He ended up paying for it and decided it would be a good work knife (???) for himself.
