You cannot complete your PM2 collection without it. :D That, is really the only reason to get one IMHO...it's my "ugliest" PM2 and the steel does not do much for me, practically, compared to the others.

If you like brown or want to complete a collection as noted above. The steel difference between the S30V and this is negligible. I have never found any practical difference between S30V and S35VN in use or sharpening.

I love this one and to me if s35vn is treated right it outstanding.my hinderer holds a edge great and gets a nice mirror polish.I would like this brown pm2 with a dlc coated blade that would look sweet like the new tenacious.this pm2 will impress you it will cut like a dream and hold a great edge.

Yes there is something strange - fascinating in this color.

I got mine from BHQ just before Christmas, when they dropped the price to $144. I think S35VN is actually an easier to sharpen steel than S30V (that may be totally in my head though ) and I like the brown/tan G10 better than any of the standard colors, so it was an easy choice for me to spend the extra $20.

No regrets so far!
