While both are still available I never have money I can spend on knives it seems...

Right now the Ulize and the Worker G10 (I think technically the Worker was a Sprint run though)

Thanks Peter! So apparently they're both gen1's but the black one is stamped AUS8A, which it shouldn't be according to the wiki..

It's one of the misprints of the AUS-8 variant.
You can find the whole AUS-8 and AUS-8A story here:

My pleasure to help you!
AUS-8A ... what should I say? Misprints have a long history by Spyderco and one could say they have tradition :D

Hmmm I had quite a run on discontinued models in 2015. I'd like to find a plain edge, reverse s Meerkat. My SE one is lonely.

Well, although I originally posted that I only was hunting for 3 specific Spydies, I guess I have to change that.

I guess I need to search for a plain edge K10 Chaliff to go with my serrated version.
I also need a better example of the C23 Renegade. Mine is pretty beat up.

And from my original post, I of course still need:

The other PM2 sprints (BBS, 20CP, old XHP)
A titanium Herbst
A 2-screw Worker

Old XHP on USN right now.

I'll take some pictures and post a thread sometime. It's an interesting knife. I think it's the only Spyderco to use MRS-30 blade steel.

Thanks, but I think you need a payed account over there to BST. I'm a member there, but I've never posted and I don't have a paid membership.

Yeah, seems it ended up too thin for that steel and they saw the edge chipping out...
I'd imagine you're not buying them for using though.

MattM68 wrote:Any of the Dodo's! I have the orange Dodo, but I'd love a blue, or a CF, or even a SE Dodo. I'm also thinking about picking up a small fly around Christmas. Those are definitely the two I want the most.
You and me both Brother ;) And why they don't even offer up the Dodo in full Spyderedge in any of these subsequent Sprint Runs that they have done with the Dodo model just baffles me to no end. I traded both the full Spyderedged Dodo models I used to own and it's been one of my biggest regrets ever.

There are several of Spyderco's older models that I eventually want to snag in in full Spyderedge. I've been fortunate to have been blessed with two full SE JD Smith models over the past year or so. They are both so gorgeous that I can't hardly bring myself to use either one of them.

The TEMPERANCE 1 model in full Spyderedge was certainly a beast of a fixed blade>> why they never would make it available in Spyderedge on the TEMP 2 is also confusing

The Ayoob I managed to get in full Spyderedge and it might just be the best Spyderedged folder that they ever did. The Lil Temperance in full Spyderedge in the leaf blade was truly a beauty. OH yes there are a couple of plain edged disco'd Spyders I would love to get>> The IMPALA ( with the guthook) and another plain edged HARPY ( imagine that :D )
