I am the happiest man alive & blessed

Say hello to my little miracle- (Demoncase Junior) Georgina May Lopez

Every parent rightly feels their child is a miracle and special- but Georgina is our miracle because:
- We have been together 17 years, married for 14- and I'm a 1st time Dad at 40
- My lady wife was told at 20 years ago she would never, ever, be able to have children. She told me on our second date

- Together we have fought through PCOS and Endometriosis and the dozen surgeries required to give her quality of life (And major brain surgery in me 10 years ago, but that's not relevant here). I held her hand through every step. She held my hand through ever step.

- After her last op we were told that actually there was a faint chance of conceiving.
- We tried for several years with no joy- and were told that we were out of the age range for IVF on the NHS
- We stopped trying.

- Then last year, my wife fell pregnant and we were overjoyed.
- 6 weeks after we found this wonderful news, we had a miscarriage. As you can imagine, we were both utterly crushed. It was heartbreaking.

- By pure chance, 9 months ago someone up there decided to grant us a real miracle......and here she is.

Here she is, in her mom's arms, but 10 minutes old.

The way this felt (and feels) to me is beyond words.

Never give up hope. Never. Even when it feels like hope has given up on you. :)

I am the proudest man alive and I don't care who knows-

Kind regards: Jonathan Lopez (aka Demoncase, of this parish) ;)
Warhammer 40000 is- basically- Lord Of The Rings on a cocktail of every drug known to man and genuine lunar dust, stuck in a blender with Alien, Mechwarrior, Dune, Starship Troopers, Fahrenheit 451 and Star Wars, bathed in blood, turned up to eleventy billion, set on fire, and catapulted off into space screaming "WAAAGH!" and waving a chainsaw sword- without the happy ending.

Congrats! I didn't have a child until I was 36 after being with my wife for 14 years.

All the cliches are true. You are about to embark on a magical experience. It ain't gonna be easy but it is gonna be worth it. Enjoy the ride. :D

I wish you and your family many years of health and happiness.

Congratulations!
The doctors also told my wife she couldn't get pregnant and, if she did, she couldn't carry successfully. After 20 years of marriage, she proved them wrong. My son is now 11.
You're just a young pup at 40; I was 52 when my first (and only, made sure of that!) child was born.

Congratulations Jonathan!! I love when people actually make their real name known. It's great to read some positive, personal information these days with everything you see and hear in the news and media. Cherish every moment! They grow up so fast.
