New CZ Bren 805 S1 11"
Just ordered one late last week. Should have it by end of this week if not a tad sooner. Very excited about this one. From what I gather she is built like a Tank and smooth as silk. Just what I love. I will be turning her into an SBR of course, and will get a can for her as well.
I'm hoping that there are some members here that have one and can post some pics.
I'll get some pics up asap. Thanx all! :D

Looks awesome. Is there a factory stock kit to convert it? Or do you have to go aftermarket?

Thanx Tom :)
I think CZ has a stock. They make the adapter.
I'm going with an SB Tactical that has the adapter.
That may from CZ, I'm not sure.
Sure am looking forward to this one though!
Gonna be a fantastic SBR!

Oh.....sorry.
Yes, .223 and semi auto.
Would have loved for her to have a selector between semi, 3rd burst, and full auto :D
That would be sooooo cool.....

Paul, prolly a stupid question but do you now develop a hand load or shoot factory ammo and call it good?

That's a great question.Bloke wrote: ↑Fri Jan 04, 2019 5:55 pmPaul, prolly a stupid question but do you now develop a hand load or shoot factory ammo and call it good?
But, easily answered by me, because I've never reloaded before, so factory ammo will be more than fine.
I'm just looking to have some fun with this ole gal :)
Plus, I think a lot of factory ammo nowadays is very, very good anyways. Heck, I dont even hunt. Just pure target fun for me

Plenty of times I wished I didn’t hand load! Ah, hahaha! :)MacLaren wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 1974 8:23 pmThat's a great question.

I haven’t bought factory ammo since my early twenties with the exception of buying a box for a new rifle as a reference.
Over the years I’ve loaded for numerous calibers but at the moment the only centrefires I have are, the most temperamental rifle I’ve ever own, a Stainless, Remington 700, 220 Swift and a CZ 527, .222 that’ll prolly group similar weight rocks to MOA.
I broke the stock on my old Winchester ‘94, 30-30 a while back chasing pigs on a dirt bike and left it with a young stockman on the property I was shooting on. I drilled and taped the receiver for a Lyman Peep Sight right after I bought it in the mid eighties and couldn’t count how many pigs I’ve nailed with it.
I’ve kind of lost the drive to hunt of late and I’ve knock back the invites to some great trips away these last few years. :)

That's very nice to be able to make your own rounds. I'd say you have some very, very tight groups :D
Btw, dont ya just love the set trigger on that CZ?
I gotta say, CZ really has it goin on imo.
Btw did I mention I had a new Shadow 2 that came in yesterday?
It's a very nice pistol. I'll get some pics up.

I USED to be an avid handgun enthusiast! Loaded 40SW, 45, 38, 357, 9mm ,10mm , 30 carbine, and 44mag. Shot at least 200-400 rounds a week (mostly 40SW, 357, and 44) and couldn't get enough. I even brought my future wife over for dinner on a date to help me load. ..she loved it!
Now it's just 5-8 times a year with the kids on the winter desert trips. Still have all the equipment to load ...but never have the energy or time. Getting ammo in California is not as easy as it once was. ...at least for me.
I drive through Ashville couple times a year on the way to SC...beautiful place!
Have fun with that beauty!
