NCAAM Basketball

#1

Post by legOFwhat? »

Any basketball fans in here? Got some trash talk?

I'm a big Kentucky Wildcat homer and love to watch/attend great college basketball. Tonight the Madness starts....who you got? :D

I thought you were especially with your great fondness to orange things :D

The Cats and Cuse have had some epic battles over the years.

....even more so with just coach Cal

Hahaha, yea I dunno what it is about Orange/Black. Surprised I'm not a Bengals and Oklahoma St fan as well.

Coach Cal been a thorn in our side for many years!

Looking to rebound this year and make the tourney. Not much fun around here in March when we're in the NIT.

Unmet expectations suck! Fun fact: Coach Boeheim's wife Juli is from/around Middlesboro about 30 minutes from me. While visiting my sister a few years ago I came to a redlight and Jim was the passenger in the car to my left, I gave him an awkward wave while wearing my customary UK hat and he smiled and raised his hand. My wife asked me who that was that I waved at and I told her it was that mean old coach from Syracuse. Made my day :)

That's pretty cool, he's not usually one for interaction. Probably because he can't go anywhere in public around here without being mobbed. I'm surprised he wasn't picking his nose when you pulled up :p

I think we played fairly decent tonight vs Wofford. Especially considering it's the 1st game of the year.
Kansas looks like the #1 team though. And, I have always liked Tom Izzo. His Spartans showed a lot of heart tonight.
Now.....Go Wildcats! :D

Yeah........I'm not so sure that UK wasn't ready for this one.
Like I mentioned before, we all have some embarrassing losses.
UK will bounce back. It can be pretty amazing in how teams play now vs in March...

That was not the team I saw in the Bahamas...but you have to give it to the other fellas they played their butts off.

Hopefully they gained something from this. It was obvious early on that they were defeated you could see it on their face and that was the most aggravating thing from me. Body language speaks volumes!

I would rather it have been any other team to give us the thumping though.
