I got my first benchmade. Wish it had a thumb hole but a darn nice knife for the 63 dollars I paid for it brand new.

Aluminum scales aren't too expensive for it either.Sjucaveman wrote: ↑Mon Oct 22, 2018 4:28 pmI got my first benchmade. Wish it had a thumb hole but a darn nice knife for the 63 dollars I paid for it brand new.

Carried it so far today and after fidgeting with it I like how much easier the lock is to operate with only one finger. I do, however find it rather loud when it closes. It seems to slam against the lock.Sjucaveman wrote: ↑Mon Oct 22, 2018 4:28 pmI got my first benchmade. Wish it had a thumb hole but a darn nice knife for the 63 dollars I paid for it brand new.

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
I've been looking at picking up one of these for a while now. Found one at a local B&M store for under $60 and couldn't pass it up.
Also got my P4 and LM Rebar with me.

My first Medford, and it's a MIDI Marauder CPM S35VN blade with Custom Scales, and a flamed pocket clip.

I hear ya! Can't wait to see it
I bet the action is nice on that Medford.
Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
The action is butter smooth, but won't blade drop like our Hindered's Gen. 6 with Tri-Way do out of the box.

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
I got my first Kershaw ever, a Rove that was $16.95 shipped from KnifeCenter. In fact, this is the first non-Spyderco I have ordered in probably 10 years. It's also my first flipper, although its SpeedSafe opening uses a torsion bar. Solid construction, good heft, simple liner lock, and easily sharpened 8Cr13MoV steel will make this a handy beater blade around the house since it's heavier and larger than I normally use for EDC, which is usually a UKPK.
