Lanyard Manix 2 in the way

I like lanyards. However, on a Manix2 it always seems to be in the way when closing the knife.
Am I the only one?

It's funny you say that. I've been trying lanyards on different knives and the Manix 2 just doesn't like lanyards for me either.
