Strongest Spyderco Fixed Blade?

There is a thread about the strongest folder, now what of the fixed blades? I say it would be the Enuff Salt with H1 blade. I don't see how one could snap that thing. What do you say?

The blade stock on the Respect is pretty thick at .3 inches. I'd imagine that thing could take a beating!

Any of the Enuff's. Short, thick, H1 has been proven to bend before it breaks.

I think the Hossom models might also deserve a nod. I know mine is extremely beefy and the blade shape makes for a feeling of more blade heft.

The Sustain is pretty burly too. And the Rock Salt is basically a giant chunk of H-1.

The HatchetHawk's blade seems pretty fixed to me... and it's meant to be thrown :D

I have beaten my Schempp Rock and Bradley Bowie both pretty hard. Both have been batonned a lot and the Rock has even been thrown quite a bit.

The Bushcraft seems pretty stout but I haven’t used mine much yet.

The Province should be a very durable knife. I look forward to getting one.

My Temperance 2 looks like it will do more than I ever expect to do with it -- but it is just too pretty for me to want to get rowdy with. On the other hand, I won't hesitate to use it as need arises, but so far treating it nice has fit nicely into my lifestyle.

I agree that the Enuff Salt is stout to the point of near unbreakability, but it's also basically a stubby saw... not a knife for any sort of subtle task and too small for some of the brute-force jobs it's rugged enough to handle.

I really need to trade mine off and get one of the VG-10 versions to replace it.

Mules are pretty tuff in several steels, being a smaller blade and full tang with a decent handle.

Bargain at under $70 on average.

in that regard the Enuff's short and stubby body, full tang, H1 steel and full thickness make it the hardest to break, be it by prying, chopping, bending, twisting or throwing, IMO

I have the Darn Dao and Jumpmaster 2, and they are both excellent knives. I'd also love to see more conventional fixed blade knives (or models like the Darn Dao and Jumpmaster 2) in 3V. Something between 4 and 7 inches in blade length could also be made in M390.

I've yet to own one but I have handled a TEMPERANCE 2 on a couple of occasions. That would be my pick for Spyderco's strongest fixed blade. Because all 4 of my TEMP 1 models have taken very harsh usage and none of them hardly look used at all. And to be fair about it the construction on the TEMP 2 is what I would call "overkill"

And for the size I've always found my original, Micarta STREETBEAT model to be about as tough as you could make a fixed blade knife.
