Pros: M4 steel

Cons: It's not a GB1.

+1

I have the GB1 and rate it as the best folder I have. If the GB2 is half as good I would still buy it before many others.

When a knife maker reviews it as the best knife ever

If it just had a more pronounced lip at the front of the finder choil by the edge I'd probably be using one now. It's a near perfect design otherwise.

My experience is that the GB2 has about the best blade of any knife I've owned. The proud liners make it a little less comfortable than the pm2/manix 2 for harder use. I
considering trying to find a maker to make some micarta scales for it that are a little wider so the liners don't stick out. It's a pretty knife for sure.

You know me too well. Based on everything I have read this will be purchased. Thank you everybody for such informative posts, I was a bit surprised to discover the second version has a bit longer blade. I like that :)

Please feel free to continue writing more as for me now I just need to decide where I am buying one from. Hmmm maybe I should give KnifeCenter a little love after recently picking on them :)
