I've always been interested but feel like I wouldn't carry it often, seems like they take up a lot of pocket space. Do they take up as much, if not more than a Manix 2?

Way less than a Manix 2. Same specs as a standard Delica 4, just slightly wider. Nick Shabazz made a big deal out of the extra width in his YouTube review, but I don't get it

Right now, I've got a Caribbean Salt and the HAP40 Wharncliffe clipped in the same pocket, and I can still get my hand in there.

I think you know I like this knife. I'll get a pic of my herd. They don't hog the pocket. Good grief. I can't post my work knife with orange handles and VG-10 with the others, because it's at work and thankfully, I'm not.

I like the color, but I'm not that fond of S30V. The only knife I currently have in S30V is the Sliverax. I love the design, and we may not see it in anything but S30V :(

I love wharncliffe's, sheepsfoot's, and reverse tanto's. Something about that straight razor feel and ease of sharpening.

Well, I have 4 of them myself.
Three serrated and one hap 40.
I feel like with the three serrated, I've enough for life (shame on me if I go through more than three).
One in the kitchen utility drawer, one with a Emerson delica scale swap that I edc, and one new in box. Haven't really used the hap40 one to be honest. The serrated steals the show. Hope we get more steel and color sprints of this model.
I am interested in one of those reverse tanto mods that one shop does. Is that knivesplus? But I'm not into that stonewashing.

Looks like the recent Delica HAP40 wharncliffe sprint with custom handles.

VG-10 in stock Ti, S30V in stock foliage green G10, and the HAP40 in Casey Lynch custom Ti scales (that adds a finger choil similar to the Para 3, but these scales predate the Para 3 by a couple of years). :)

Thinking about wharncliffe Delica. I want to ask wich blade is a better slicer? Less drag on deep cut, like cardboard. FFG plain edge VG-10, or hollow grind plain edge H1?

Most definitely, in my experience, FFG VG 10. I really hate serrations and cardboard. They can be okay, but I don’t have time for okay. My PE VG 10 flies through cardboard all day long. I sharpen to about 15° per side. I like serrations when sharp, but not for cardboard. If you’re not cutting much cardboard, then either. The SE has shallow serrations on it. They’re all nice knives, and I have them all, but for what you asked, FFG PE all the way.
