Damascus Pattern Fading??

I have a Delica with Damascus steel, and the etched Damascus pattern is fading with use, is that normal for Damascus? Is there anything I can do about that?

Yes because the damascus pattern is only visible when etched with acid.

That’s normal. It can be “re-etched”. I wouldn’t try myself, but it can be done.
