Perfect centering, bevels, and action! Nice job Spyderco and DLT. Haven’t carried a manix 2 in a while. ...this will change that :)

Totally agree James! I've got the BD1 LW model that is primarily a camping and outdoors knife for me, I've also got the BHQ exclusive in DLC/M4 but really don't carry that very often for some reason (I think because I have the Para 3 version and the GB2 in M4 as well and typically prefer the smaller carry of the Para 3 or the very classy look of the GB2). This one though, this one really appeals to me. It's just such a nice piece that looks nice and is certainly capable of tough work as well. First knife I've got in a while that once it came out of the box, really kind of stunned me :D

I agree, bring the 20CV to the Military model in red g10. The red g10 is sexy!

i would’ve been all over this if i didn’t ‘need’ a yojimbo before another manix, it was dlc, and/or was not red. i don’t know if it’s the fact that spyderco trainers have this combo or if it just reminds me of a hardware store knife, but the red just doesn’t do it for me. having researched replacement scales for the yojimbo now though, i’m kind of sad i missed this one. if they make one with dlc, i’ll be all over it.

for people upset that they didn’t do a different knife, clearly this was a good one for them to make since it sold out so fast. you can’t be upset with them for wanting to make sure they used a model they know would sell.

I'd love to see that, but given how long it took KW to sell out the 204p military (basically what you're asking for but with green instead of red g-10) I'd say that ordering more would be a tough decision to make from a business standpoint.

Truly amazing how many of these DLT Manixes are flipped. I count 25 ebay listings this morning, each at > $50 surcharge ....

That's sad, it's a great piece. I like it better than I thought I would, MIGHT be enough to hold me off from the re-release of the PM2/M390.

I missed it because I was in the hospital for a sudden surgery. Oh well, I still have my Manix2 in M4 and S110V. Let's hope there will be a second run soon....
The Manix2 might be my favourite Spyderco. I have a hard time to decide which knife I like the most: the PM2 or the Manix2.
I also own the GB1 and the DG2. I love those al!

Dreaming of an all black Manix2 witch a M4 blade and marbled carbon. That would be my dream Spyderco....

Flippers are an abysmal bunch... but guess everyone has to make a living doing "something"?

I've been more frugal with my knife spending this year, I finally narrowed down what I'm looking for in a knife and will only drop cash for something "special". Course that is subjective to everyone, but the knives I buy I intend to carry and use. However, I do own 2 back up pm2s... one in 20cv and the other the released cts-204p that are by definition "Safe Queens". I more than likely will use one of them in the future, and sell the other... but not for an outrageous price. I would rather do an Ebay auction with the bid below MSRP and give a fair chance to everyone, or in the off chance a friend / relative wanted I'd give it to them depending (blood is thicker than water as they say).

Recently sold a Team 25 LC200N Mule at auction, final bid was roughly 130 dollars and I bought it directly from Spyderco last year for roughly 70 bucks..
It's on it's way to Israel of all places, and I hope it get's there in one piece XD

Customs by a South African maker by name of Trevor Burger.

The model is the LEXK (Large Excalibur). The blade is an unusual variation, they typically come with a drop/spearpoint.

Left one is on washers, right two are on ceramic IKBS.

All three are front flippers.

Not seeing much chatter about this knife. I've been using it a bit at work lately cutting some cardboard and plastic strapping, packaging tape and shrink wrap. A bit of food prep as well as I'm cutting sausage and peppers as I write this for stuffed peppers for dinner. So nothing crazy.

This is my first knife in 20CV, and have to say I'm impressed so far. Just shave a nice patch of hair off my forearm (yes im done with the food prep haha) I've yet to even touch this knife up. So that's pretty good, as I've used it a few times a week since its release.

Anybody holding onto it without giving it use...give it a shot! Such a good knife and steel for the price. Shame on all of those out there trying to flip it...I see there's quite a few at the moment. Their missing out!

It has the looks, cool and classy. Form and function, a great steel. I knew I'd it, but its moving up in my favorites list. The poor LW version in BD1 is feeling left out lately!

Beware...its not as stainless as you may hope it would be. I unfortunately just discovered, after giving it a cleaning...a **** patina. I'm pissed, because I wanted this to stay looking nice and didn't think a patina was possible. Cut up some green peppers, a jalapeno and some turkey sausage...this was the result :o
