DLT doesn't mess around! Just received my shipping notification as well. This is only the 3rd time I've ordered from them, but I think I need to start moving them above some other distributors on my list. I think it has to do with their webpage layout, why their not typically in my top 3.

My most recent swap. Was the gray (52100) scales, and a Maxamet LW blade, going into/onto a Blurple frame.
Now watch. That will be the next Maxamet production version, from Spyderco. :rolleyes:

On this Red DLT Trading Manix 2. I also got checked out, at 11:04 AM. As a Guest. Thank goodness I took that route, instead of taking the time to dig up my password. Wow that was Fast!

The Official stopwatch at DLT (I called them after, about another matter) read 7 minutes 16 seconds, when the sell-out was complete.

My shipping notification came in, just 39 minutes after my order was placed.
They said too, that they had made up most of the boxes yesterday, and many of them stuffed with a single knife already.

Well that gives hope. It is an attractive knife. 20CV is a great steel, one of my all time favorites, as is the Manix.

I can imagine how an outfit like DLT thinks about this. 800 knives sold in one day. A pretty nice money machine for them, but they have to risk something weird happening, putting a bunch of money into a run and then having them dribble out if interest isn't hot.

Amazing to see the Manix be such a hot seller. The PM2 seems to always stir interest. The red is certainly attractive.

On the other hand, I have been telling myself to spend less on knives in 2019. This could be the start of a healthy new trend for me.

Cool for them that this one sold out so quickly, but I really hate when companies do reruns on exclusives. There are so many other good models. A Native or Military or Shaman in this combo would probably sell out as well, so why do a rerun? Or at least make the rerun a DLC coated version of the Manix. Or what about a red FRN Manix LW? So many possibilities. Switch it up. End rant. :D

I wasn't planning on buying one so it didn't matter to me but certainly enjoy being around the excitement and frenzy and seeing and hearing it all go down.

I checked again at 11:06:andsomeseconds and it was sold out.

Can't wait to get them in the mail.
