Spyderco delica with cocobolo scales

The delica is one of my favourite spyderco knives.

I am aware of the pakkawood delica at knifecenter... But it still wasn't nice enough.

- solid cocobolo scales
- carbon fiber back spacer
- deleted the hardware holes
- deleted the lanyard hole

She cleans up nice!

Love it, looks superb. Has an air of quality / old school about it.

Id love an Endura in it.
3 x Endura 1 SE, 1 x Endura ? CE and a Black Pacific Salt. Want Aqua Salt, Fish Hunter and a Pacific Salt Yellow.

I am considering a ZDP-189 endura with the same treatment, but in a different wood.

Just got to think of which wood... Maybe purple heart?

I will google purple heart but can you post a photo of some ?

A nice, deep, red burl would look good - as it does on anything !

mmmm, not sure on that (for my tastes) but I can see what you like about it.
I'll look on line at other knives and see if my view changes.

It goes well with that gold/brass colour and bright silver shiny blade.

That delica looks great!

That purple heart is nice. Reminds me of blood wood. I really do like blood wood on knives.
