I took delivery of my spydercard in July and had a great time handling it. Once I showed it to a guy, he was desperate to own one, so I persuaded a friend to sell his. When I delivered the spydercard to this guy, he wanted to compare mine with his new knife and dropped my spydercard with its tip down! It went "kerplunkkt!" and left me with a flattened tip! That was my worse moment with a guy who claimed that he's cool with handling knives. I wish I had a "trainer" spydercard made of rubber for this individual *hee-hee!* Have you ever had such luck?

Yep, I work with this guy, he loves knives, but so far he's mananged to cut himself on almost every knife I have brought to work. He dropped my 50/50 Delica and I thought that he punctured his foot, but instead it cut into his pants leg and back out again! There it was just sitting there! If his pants hadn't been baggy towards his feet I would have had to pull my knife out of his foot! That had to be the wildest thing I had ever seen! Then I brought a Cold Steel Voyager to work, and when he went to close it (even though I warned him about how sharp it was) he put his finger too low down to do the one-handed close, and you guessed it! closed the knife right on his finger. He just sat there with a goofy look on his face for a few seconds before I realized what had happened. A female employee came walking by, looked at him, and said "You just cut yourself again, didn't you?" Talk about being embarrassed! That cured him of wanting to play with my knives for a while!
