At what point should I start worrying

So my knife is somewhere.
Shipped on 20th October by spyderco and no tracking number.
I hate ordering from overseas, especially without tracking info

I was under the impression, that a law was being passed in your country stipulating, that knives should be bought and picked up at retailers in-country banning home delivery or something along those lines. Maybe that was just a proposal and not a law actually passed yet?

If you havent run afoul of some recent law, read below:

One is always anxious to lay ones mitts on ones new knife but depending on where you are situated, ten days is not alarmingly long.
I know, you are antsy but alas patience is called for.
A knife takes time to travel overseas - with my Sherlock Holmes-like powers of deduction, I thought you might be in Straya judging from your forum handle.
I notice you are in England though. Thatll still take a while from the US and further more, the knife might be held up in customs etc etc. Depending on the knife, the powers that be could choose to take a closer look before passing judgement. Especially in the current knife climate in England.
Who knows, maybe the authorities decided to confiscate your property and its headed for destruction (IM KIDDING! ... sort of).
Sometimes packages land in distribution centres and hang out there for a while for reasons us non-postal dudes and dudettes dont know. Maybe to make us extra excited to see our new purchase.
Bide your time for a while more.

These draconian knife laws and gun laws no matter what country they are in should concern all of us. And for a country to pass laws to where a competent, law-abiding adult can't order a knife on the internet or directly from a knife dealer to me is nothing short of draconian, totalitarian dictatorship rule and no modern, civilized country should have to tolerate that.

Keep us posted on what direction your country is going. Because I fear that at some point the USA might be heading the same way GOD forbid

Well,every dictatorship started by disarming the citizens.I remember tales my grand father told me about the comunists taking away people's guns in the 50es,so you are right it is a totalitarian measure.
The founding fathers of the US put the 2nd.amendment in your great Constitution precisely to protect you country from a dictatorship,and it worked,until now,anyway.
