I know the Spyderco Centofante knives have been discussed before, but, I would like to see more elaboration on these knives.
I believe the Centofante 3 is a wondrous knife to behold and use. I have heard that the VG10 steel blade and edge on this knife can cut through aluminum soda and beer cans, and while it is listed in the Spyderco Product Guide as a "Gentleman's Knife", it is more like a "Gentleman's Folding Survival Knife".
Here is what the wiki says:

sal and anyone else: Can you educate myself and others more about the "Centofante Story" from what you knew of him and his knife design and knife making talents?
What is really cool about Spyderco is all the "sub stories" of knife makers and designers within the company profile.

I'd love to hear more as well. I've given up on asking for an updated Centofante with screw-together, linerless construction.

It can cut aluminum cans? You mean like all knives?
