I am most likely out because of the orange scales. Just not my thing.
Probably an obvious statement black rit dye would be an option if you feel like getting crafty with this beaut.
Not much of a crafter either. :)

My mind says either folding machete or tactical spatula. :)
I was thinking folding machete also, you took the words right out of my mouth.

Tactical spatula -- that gave me my big laugh for the day.

$305 at Knifecenter -- well that is too rich for my blood, but it looks like quite the knife.

This knife is right up my alley but the price is outrageous. I've already forgotten about it.
Exactly! A price tag like that requires something a bit more exciting than S30V.

I'll pick it up on the discontinued sale.

Nati Amor Just received his first Spyderco Subvert and posted pics of it on Instagram. He said he thinks it should be available or start shipping around December 28th. It looks amazing.

I knowrite! Since that post you made about how to fix detents, I've been doing it to all of my knives and love it!

I really love the look of this Subvert and would like to have one, but it is pricey for the limited use I would give it. I don't think the price is out of line, mind you, it seems to have more value than say a Sebenza if basing it on materials and unique design.

It is basically a cotton sampling knife. Looks nice.

I checked out Nati Amor's IG not too long ago... The blade shape is definitely a signature of his. (His customs are beautiful!)

I really like the look of the Subvert, but for that price, I'd rather see a nicer steel like S90V or 20CV, and maybe carbon fiber scales (which I'm sure someone will come up with eventually as an upgrade.)

Yup! I just fixed the detent on my Rhino, much better now. The difference really is night and day.
