Happy BDay Cobra.

One of the things that birthdays always make me think of, which is both valuable and scary.

How many more summers do you think you have left? If you are 60 and you will be active to, let's say 75, then you only have 15 more summers left. Maybe I should think about that and evaluate my values and plans?

I think about this a lot, how over even a long 100 year lifetime you only see things like the first blooms of spring 100 or so times. It really is important to take time and enjoy the little things.

I will be 76 in November. I don’t concern myself overly much with next summer. I’m grateful for today. Plans? Sure, I have plans, but we all know about plans.

Wow thanks for all birthday wishes. I’m definitely feeling the love. This forum is a special place, but only because of the wonderful people that choose to spend their time here. I’m proud to be a member and plan to be as long as you’ll have me.

Sal, that is a pretty morbid way to think of things but it’s also a realistic way too. It’s pretty much how I view the world though, so I’m on your side. I often find myself wondering if that was the last time I’ll visit this place or that. Carpe diem n such right? :D
