“compression lock”

The PM2 Compression lock is incredible. I love it, it keeps my fingers clear of the blade path too. With how rediculously sharp my S110V blade is, it makes me feel better about not cutting a finger off.

The Compression lock on a PM2, or PM3 will hold about 240 pounds of forces before it will force close. And even then, no damage occurs to the lock at all or the knife. So, you could stab the knife in a tree and use it to pull up with if needed.

The ball bearing lock seems good too. Haven’t tried one yet.
