Let’s see some of your clip-free Spydercos.

Some minority of us here like certain Spydercos sans clips. Here is one of mine:

For something this old-school (and handsome), I wouldn’t want a clip either, Michael.

I recently started carrying my Delica without a clip. I wear dress pants for work, and wanted to start carrying the Delica because it’s so thin and disappears in my front pocket. I had been using a nice slip joint but I like the idea of a locking blade.

What I find interesting is that a few years ago, a folding knife with a clip was a novel thing. These days a knife without one is the novelty.

I carry my Dragonfly2, Delica4, and Chaparral clipless most of the time.

I don’t carry my Buck 112 with a clip. Not sure what I even mean by that, but take it how you will.

I often carry a Delica clipless in pocket, especially in dress pants. Longer knives tend to get stuck sideways in the bottom of the pocket when carried loose, so I clip those.

I also carry a Delica sans clip. Its the perfect size for pocket carry, yet still large enough to handle anything I need at work!

These are my favorites, though I do like a clipless Dragonfly in the watch pocket from time to time.

I take the clips off of most of my knives below the size of a Manix 2 (and even on some of them) as I like to drop the knife into my pocket or carry it in my watch pocket. Clips on smaller knives get in the way, for me.

I wear dress pants for work. I recently took the clip off my Delica and pocket carry it for work. It’s nice and thin and not too obvious. A knife clipped to my pocket would unfortunately look too out of place for work.
