I've never had a lockback without the dent close by accident, but I prefer having one regardless. I like how they feel VS not having one. I might grind one on my Police 4. I ground one on a C95 Manix back in the day.

More comfortable for the thumb when disengaging the lock?

I've never had one try to close on me during use. I agree with Vivi though, for some reason I just like the look.

Just reported one of his earlier posts. It has been edited it into a huge advertisement complete with website address.

I like the feel of it. I use the side of my thumb when closing. Feels better, and is easier to find without looking. I know someone will chime in and say you can find it just fine without. So can I, it’s just easier.

If you grind one, make sure you can still unlock it when it’s pushed all the way down. Might not be enough metal/room.
- best wishes, Jazz.

The Boye dent was carefully located so the dent is parallel to the bottom of the well when fully depressed.

Yeah the first post (now gone) was copied from your original thread. I'm sure they intended to edit with spam in the future as Meat man indicated.

I'm often amazed at what these spammers will go through to post their ads. What also amazes me is that there must be people out there that actually bite on their ads

This baffles me more than anything, I just don't understand.

Yes, there has to be a market for that kind of stuff. There are hundreds of funny videos on YouTube about scammers being baited by their “victims” — telemarketers, IRS scammers, etc. I’m learning some techniques. I kept a Las Vegas telemarketer on the phone for over five minutes yesterday before he hung up.
Overheard at the end of the ice age, “We’ve been having such unnatural weather.”

I've strung them along a lot longer than that, Michael. I've gone on and on with the "lower your credit card interest" Low Lifes and after giving them no end of phony info, I'll finally say, "Will you marry me? I hate giving all this personal information to a complete stranger." I've got to the point I even use the same line if it's a man trying to scam me. There's a lot of great stuff to use on them if you look around on the net. Love retirement! :)

Okay, this thread has me scratching my head. Is it about some spammer or about someone editing it from boye detent to boye dent? Or is this some kind of mandela effect timeline shift happening?

The thread creator had his posts removed, he was some sort of spammer. I didn't start this one, despite having the first post now.

This I do know, when I put up the original thread I relized that I can't spell worth crap, still can't. So I did edit the spelling of Boye. This thread baffles me and then some. I just hope I didn't open a hole in the space time continuum :p
